When ordering, it is important to measure the window correctly. For inside mounts, the shade width should be 1/4" to 3/8" smaller than the actual window width. For outside mounts, customers can order the size that covers the desired area.

BlindsAvenue cellular shades are made of spun lace, non-woven fabric composed of 100% polyester. They offer both light-filtering and blackout options, as well as regular cordless and top-down bottom-up shades.

The cordless operation allows customers to order shades that are not the exact length of their window. For windows less than 48" tall, customers can order the 48" height, and for windows between 48" and 72" tall, they can order the 72" length and simply lower the shade to the desired length.

The headrail and bottom rail are color-coordinated to the shade, and the shades can be mounted on doors, in bathrooms, or in any room in the house. The minimum mounting depth required is 1-1/8", and the headrail dimensions are 1-5/8" deep for the headrail only and 1-7/8" deep for the headrail with bracket, with a headrail height of 1-1/8".

If a customer receives an incorrect size shade, they should remove it from the box, take a picture of the actual headrail measurement with a metal tape measure, and provide it to the seller for review.

BlindsAvenue products are covered under a 3-year warranty against manufacturer defects, and customers can process returns through their account purchasing center/orders.

If the headrail does not snap into the bracket, the customer should ensure that the brackets are evenly aligned and leveled, and that they are not set too far back into the window, leaving enough room to seat the headrail into the bracket.
