In 2009, our founder noticed a major problem as he was trying to enjoy a day at the beach. It was a sunny, windy day, when a sudden gust of wind launched a beach umbrella with a metal screw device down the beach. Sadly, the umbrella struck and injured a young girl. This sparked in our founder an interest to make the beach a safer place for everyone. He began to consider how patio umbrellas stayed in place and how that concept can be applied to beach umbrellas without the hassle of lugging around a heavy base. Thus, beachBUB was born.

Our beach umbrella system is lightweight and portable, making it the ideal travel companion on your next beach outing. The ULTRA Beach Umbrella Base system is a hassle-free way to keep your beach umbrellas in place without any effort.
This portable beach umbrella base is easy to set up. First, pick a place to set up your beach umbrella and brush away the top layer of fluffy sand. Next, bore a hole in the sand using the included Sand Gopher. Lay the ULTRA base on top, making sure the holes are aligned. Place the bottom of your umbrella pole through the opening in the center of the base and into the hole you just bored into the sand. Secure two sides of the Base onto the Anchor Collar, leave one side unhooked, and shovel in sand from the beach using the included Sand Scoop to add weight and stability. Once the base is filled with compacted sand, secure the last side of the Base onto the Anchor Collar. After making sure that the pole is securely in place, sit back and enjoy your day at the beach!
The ULTRA Beach Umbrella Base is the perfect addition to your beach gear. It weighs less than a pound unfilled, and once filled, it weighs 120 lbs., helping to keep your umbrella secure on the beach. No screw devices are needed, and everything you need to install it comes with the package. This umbrella base is designed for umbrellas up to 7 1/2 feet and fits umbrella poles up to 1 1/2 inch in diameter. It is made of water-repellent and sun-resistant material for maximum durability, allowing you to enjoy the beach while reducing the stress related to keeping your umbrella in place.
